Recording a Video File to Your Windows Phone

Welcome to 123 Copy DVD! In this installment we will show you how to capture video that can be viewed on your Windows Phone with a few simple steps. You can capture video using a camcorder, web cam and or video card and move the file straight to your Windows Phone in just a few minutes time. Learning how to capture video has never been so easy.

Once the process is completed you will have successfully captured a video file that is viewable on your Windows Phone.

Below is a step by step guide:

Double click your 123 Downloader product icon on your computer’s desktop. This will launch the 123 Downloader interface.

The Default tab will be set to "Home". Click on the "Video" tab. Under Capture, select "Record to video file". The user interface will shift, presenting options for output settings.

If you are using a camcorder connect your camera to your PC.

Select your desired camera from the list found in first pulldown. Click on the gear in order to select the desired video options for your selected camera.

Next select "Windows Phone 7" from the output menu. Under the "Settings" tab you can select video & audio bitrate along with options for widescreen or fullscreen resolutions. You can also use the "Switch Mode" which allows you to switch the output mode to File and or Blu-ray (and back to DVD again) if you desire to do so.

You can manually stop the recording or set recording to stop automatically at a specific time stamp. Once all your options have been inputted, press the "Record" button.

You will be prompted to create a video file name and asked to save to an output folder of your choosing.

Your video will now begin recording.

If you selected manual stop you can press "Stop" to halt the recording or if you selected "Automatic recording" the video will stop after running its predetermined course.

The conversion process will begin. Upon completion, you will be prompted to open the video file via the output folder. This file will now be useable on your Windows Phone.

In order to transfer converted files from your PC to your Windows phone, you have to ensure that your device is connected to your PC (via hard connection, wireless or Bluetooth). Once the connection is confirmed you can move the video file to a suitable media folder on your device for viewing. Enjoy!
